Changelog · current release 1.0.0-rc4
What changed, release by release.
Taken from the plugin's own readme.txt, the same text WordPress shows on the Plugins screen. Clear any page cache after updating so the new designer scripts load.
1.0.0-rc4
- Free placement: a template can let customers drag a decoration anywhere on the garment photo, with no zone boxes. The order records the exact position plus the nearest area, and the Job Jacket flags a position outside every area.
- The designer can open in the product photo gallery: the Design button swaps the photos for the designer, in the same place, and "Back to photos" swaps them back. Falls back to the card below the form on themes without a gallery.
- Decoration areas per product: set each product's photo type (flat, model shot, close-up) and drag areas to fit a product's own photos under Garment photos. Templates can hold a default area per photo type.
- New bin/zone-sheet.php draws every product and view with its areas on one contact sheet for checking.
- Set up once, from the product page. A new Decoration tab on the WooCommerce product screen picks the template from the product's title and category, matches the product's own photos to the template views and its colour photos to the colours, and saves with the product. No second designer product to build.
- Products created by the WooCommerce CSV importer, the REST API or a feed plugin are set up automatically, with a dry-run mode and a log under System status. Optional CSV columns (Meta: stp_template, Meta: stp_garment, Meta: stp_views) decide the setup in the file.
- Bulk assign has a "Set up automatically" mode: a report per product before anything is written, CSV download of the report, and undo.
- Garment rules under Settings > Product setup: which words mean which garment, and the template each garment gets.
- Templates can be laid out without photos; each product supplies its own, and the order record pins the photo the customer saw.
- Setup wizard in seven steps: method, template and prices, colours, font, look, licence, test and finish. A shop with no products can let it create a draft product with a garment drawing. Prices are required, saving step 2 again updates the same template, and finishing waits until the product opens the designer.
- Production queue: filter by production status, method, order date and order number or customer; change the production status of many orders at once; export exactly the rows on screen.
- System status: rows are Pass, Info, Recommended or Fail, a fresh shop no longer shows failures, missing database tables can be repaired from the screen, and the support report includes licence and site details.
- Settings: the Emails tab lists every StitchPress email with its state and a link to edit it; a settings import never carries the uninstall switches; numbers out of range are clamped and reported.
- Licence: a typo in the Freemius settings no longer stops the site; cancelled or out-of-seat licences read as not valid instead of expired.
- Multisite: network activation sets up every site, new sites get their tables at once, and deleted sites drop them.
- Demo data: Remove keeps anything your own products or templates still use, and asks first.
- Export: an export with no matching orders says so instead of downloading an empty file.
- Price matrix: quantity breaks that cannot be read are listed and nothing is saved.
- PHP 8.4: no deprecation notices from CSV import and export.
- Decoration areas per product open on the product's own photos when the product was set up from them.
1.0.0-rc3
- Fix: on a product with colour or size options, Add to cart from the designer added the item twice (quantity 2). It now adds one.
- Fix: a saved design link now reopens on the garment colour and size it was saved with.
- Tested with WooCommerce 11.2.
- Ships the Freemius licensing SDK (2.13.4). It stays switched off and loads nothing until the shop's Freemius product details are configured.
1.0.0-rc2
- Proof changes on a paid order: when the change costs more, a linked balance order with a payment link is created; the paid order keeps its totals.
- Garment photo per colour also works on variations set to "any colour". Staff reprints carry setup fees and quantity breaks.
- Webhooks carry an event id and time for de-duplication. The REST orders list reports totals and says when it was cut off.
- Uninstall removes only what StitchPress created, by name. Export date filters follow the shop's timezone.
- Accessibility: settings tabs, setup wizard steps and two colour contrasts fixed (0 serious issues on 22 screens). Spanish translation complete.
- StitchPress now stops loading, with a notice, on WooCommerce older than 10.9.
1.0.0-rc1
- Settings in seven tabs (General, Storefront, Artwork, Estimates, Emails, Privacy, Advanced), with JSON export and import.
- Setup wizard: method, starter template with your own prices, palette, font, and a test order.
- Bulk assign templates by category, with a preview and undo. Price table in the template editor and a shop-wide Price matrix screen.
- Garment photo per colour: the designer and the production sheet show the photo of the colour the customer picked.
- Quantity breaks for print orders, as one shop-wide discount table.
- Seven WooCommerce emails for proofs, new decoration orders and ready orders, overridable in your theme. Production status per order.
- Reorder and reprint: Order again carries the design; staff can reprint at today's prices.
- My Account > My designs: saved designs and ordered designs.
- CSV export of decorated orders, one row per placement.
- REST API (
stitchpress/v1) and three signed WooCommerce webhook topics. - Proofs: when a customer asks for changes, staff edit the design from the order screen and the line is re-priced.
- License activation and updates (license key screen), system status rows, and logging through the WooCommerce logger with a debug toggle.
- Privacy: personal data exporter and eraser, and a retention setting for designs that were never ordered.
- Demo data importer (StitchPress > Demo data), two shipped skins (Default, Workshop) with a live preview.
- Security: shop-wide limit on artwork uploads, rate and size limits on add to cart, proof decisions counted per IPv6 /64.
- Uninstall cleanup on every site of a multisite network. Requires WordPress 6.9 and WooCommerce 10.9 or later.
0.15.0
- Faster designer: on a throttled phone it is ready in 1,356 ms instead of 5,008 ms. A small boot module draws the first screen and loads the full editor on first use.
- Production sheet: decoration total, color and size, fonts used, and the approved proof picture, plus a staff print view.
- Cart and order line: "Decoration" and "Decoration total" rows.
- Save design: guests can save a design under a 14-day link, with rate limits and no-cache, noindex pages.
- Drawn size: where a zone has a width, the size the customer draws sets the size band.
- Store skins: colors moved to design tokens, so a skin changes token values only.
- Spanish translation of the designer.
Updates for as long as the licence is active.
An expired licence keeps every feature working; only updates and support stop.
